About the Journal

Space-Society-Economy is an academic journal in the field of socio-economic geography, space economy and spatial development, that publishes articles of Polish and foreign authors. Articles published in the journal cover wide spectrum of research join with linkages between space, society and economy. Space-Society-Economy has been published since 1991, initially under the name of Studies and Materials (Abstracts of Papers for the Conference), in which were published research results in various areas of science as well as papers prepared by representatives of practice, that were presented mainly at national and international conferences.

Space – Society – Economy to rocznik, w którym artykuły publikowane są w sposób ciągły(na bieżąco on-line). Nasze czasopismo upowszechnia wyniki badań z różnych dziedzin nauki a także opracowania przygotowane przez przedstawicieli praktyki. W czasopismie zamieszczane są opracowania z zakresu gospodarki przestrzennej i planowania przestrzennego oraz geografii ekonomicznej i społecznej. Dotyczą one szerokiego spektrum badań relacji między przestrzenią, społeczeństwem i gospodarką o zasięgu regionalnym, krajowym oraz międzynarodowym. Czasopismo jest adresowane przede wszystkim do pracowników naukowych i studentów kierunku geograficznego i gospodarki przestrzennej, a dodatkowo także m.in. do: pracowników administracji państwowej, samorządowej, statystyki regionalnej i planowania przestrzennego.
