The text presents the contents of the current issue of “Nauki o Wychowaniu. Studia Interdyscyplinarne” and emphasizes the context of multi-/interdisciplinary gerontology studies conducted in Poland.

Dubas, Elżbieta – professor of social sciences in the field of pedagogy, Department of Andragogy and Social Gerontology of the University of Lodz. Pedagogist, specializing in andragogy and geragogy. Areas of study: development and education of adults, informal learning of adults, adulthood and maturity as andragogic categories, pedagogic philosophy of loneliness, educational and spiritual support for elderly people, biographic approach in andragogy studies. Co-editor of the series entitled Biografia i badanie biografii and Refleksje nad starością (Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego).
