Abstrakt

Celem artykułu jest udowodnienie efektywności zastosowania perspektywy społecznego paradygmatu schizofrenii (SPS) w analizie doświadczeń użytkowników subreddita r/schizophrenia. W badaniu wykorzystano metodę jakościowej analizy tematycznej (traktując narracje substancjalnie, jako sposoby definiowania choroby i przeżyć z nią związanych, a nie specyficzny przedmiot wyspecjalizowanych studiów nad nimi), uzupełnioną wykorzystaniem narzędzi CAQDAS. Tekst koncentruje się na unikalnych mechanizmach funkcjonowania platformy – takich jak redikieta i zasady moderacji, które kształtują formy komunikacji i wpływają na procesy kształtowania tożsamości oraz budowania wsparcia społecznego. Wyniki analiz potwierdzają, że społeczny wymiar doświadczenia schizofrenii jest równie kluczowy co aspekt medyczny, a perspektywa SPS może być skutecznym narzędziem umożliwiającym głębsze zrozumienie wyzwań i potrzeb osób żyjących ze schizofrenią. Co więcej, społeczności takie jak r/schizophrenia mogą stanowić przykład nowoczesnych form wsparcia, pozwalających na rekompensatę deficytów społecznych wynikających z różnych zaburzeń.
