Interdyscyplinarność a zagrożenia strukturalne dla socjologii krytycznej. Artykuł dyskusyjny

Abstrakt

W artykule przedstawiono pogląd na temat zagrożeń wynikających dla socjologii, w szczególności socjologii krytycznej, ze strukturalnych przemian w naukach społecznych, których legitymizacją jest coraz większe znacznie interdyscyplinarności. Jak wskazano, można je wiązać z rosnącymi presjami zewnętrznymi na nauki społeczne, a także związanym z tym wzrastającym współzawodnictwem pomiędzy poszczególnymi dyscyplinami, w której to konfrontacji sytuacja socjologii nie jest najlepsza. W tekście szczególną uwagę zwrócono na zagrożenia płynące dla socjologii z ekspansji wpływów psychologii społecznej. Rozszerzają się one między innymi pod hasłami interdyscyplinarności, podobnie jak wpływy tak zwanych areas studies i studiów migracyjnych oraz innych studies ograniczających autonomię socjologii i pogłębiających w ten sposób jej kryzys.

Tomasz Zarycki - Uniwersytet Warszawski

Socjolog i geograf społeczny. Profesor Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i zastępca dyrektora Instytutu Studiów Społecznych im. Profesora Roberta B. Zajonca (ISS UW). Do jego głównych obszarów zainteresowań należą socjologia polityki, kultury, nauki oraz historyczna socjologia elit. Jest autorem wielu książek, w tym The Polish Elite and Language Sciences: A Perspective of Global Historical Sociology (2022).
