Abstrakt

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie sprawczości technologii komunikacyjnych. Sprawczość ta ujmowana jest w sposób kontekstowy i relacyjny, a narzędziem jej rozumienia i analizy jest kategoria socjomaterialności w teorii praktyk społecznych. Rozpoznając socjomaterialny charakter technologii komunikacyjnych, wskazujemy na wymiary praktyk, takie jak cielesność, czasowość i przestrzenność, które z jednej strony są kontekstem socjomaterialnej sprawczości, z drugiej zaś materią, którą technologie przekształcają. Rezultatem analizy jest identyfikacja cech sprawczości technologii, wykraczających poza czysto komunikacyjne funkcje. Materiałem empirycznym dla analizy są trzy rodzaje lokalnych, codziennych praktyk społecznych: towarzyskie, żywnościowe i sąsiedzkie.

Doktor habilitowany, profesor Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Pracuje w Instytucie Socjologii Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Jego zainteresowania naukowe obejmują problematykę regionalizmu, rozwoju lokalnego i regionalnego, demokracji i społeczeństwa obywatelskiego, a także studiów miejskich oraz teorii socjologicznej. Obecnie prowadzi badania nad materialnymi aspektami praktyk społecznych w perspektywie teorii praktyk społecznych (TPS).

Ewa Kopczyńska - Uniwersytet Jagielloński

Doktor habilitowana, profesorka Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Pracuje w Instytucie Socjologii Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Zajmuje się socjologią jedzenia, w szczególności procesami społecznymi, inicjatywami obywatelskimi, ruchami społecznymi i alternatywnymi sieciami w systemach żywnościowych. Zaangażowana jest w międzynarodowe projekty badawcze poświęcone zrównoważonym systemom żywnościowym i zrównoważonej konsumpcji. W swoich badaniach stosuje narzędzia antropologii społecznej, teorii aktora-sieci, teorii praktyk społecznych.
