Cooperation of the EU Member States with the Developing Countries within the EU Global Strategies and Programmes – Case of Balkans

The aim of the paper is to present and discuss the main provisions of three EU Renewed Strategy after the Accession of CEE New Member States with special reference to: Lisbon Strategy (2005); European Union Strategy for Sustainable Development (2006), and Global Europe: Competing in the World – A Stronger Partnership to Deliver Market Access for European Exporters. With the third Strategy is deeply connected the Strategy Paper of the European Neighbournhood Policy-cooperation with the third countries. All these documents have also impact on the cooperation with the third countries in the future. The case of the cooperation of the EU with the Balkans is also analyzed in the paper.
