Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to all of the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Editorial instructions, which is found in "For Authors".
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

EDITORIAL GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS OF SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATION IN THE MAGAZINE
"COMPARATIVE ECONOMIC RESEARCH. CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE "

The volume of publication, taking into account the editorial  requirements, should be between 15 and 20 pages

The volume of publication, taking into account the editorial  requirements, should be between 15 and 20 pages 

Layout of publication: 

1) Name of the author and (in the footnote marked with an asterisk) the degree / academic title, name of university 

2) Title of publication 

3) Abstract in English 

4) Keywords in English  

5) JEL codes 

6) Introduction 

7) The main part of the article divided into sections 

8) Conclusion 

9) References 

10) Summary of the article in the Polish language, preceded by the title of the article in that language, and the keywords in the Polish language

 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. MS Word text editor.
  2. Page Setup:

- Margins:

top 5 cm,

bottom 5.7 cm,

Internal 4.2 cm,

External 4.2 cm, 

- Select an option: mirror margins.

  1. The main text:

- font : Times New Roman, 11 pt,

- Justified,

- Line spacing: exactly 13 pt.

  1. Titles:

- paper title: centered, Times New Roman font, bold, 12 pt, each word should start with capital letter

e.g..

Is the Corporate Income Tax Harmonization Possible In An Enlarged European Union? 

- Numbered titles of subsections: left-aligned, Times New Roman font, bold, 11 pt,

e.g.

  1. Conclusion

 Pages should not be numbered

  1. Mathematical text (centered), please compose in the equations editor. Any formula  numbers shuold be aligned to the right margin.

  1. Footnotes (explanatory note to the specific contents in the article) is included at the botom of the proper page:

  1. A reference to the literature in the article text, please write in parentheses, as in the example below:

  1. List of references at the end of the paper in alphabetical order, without a range of pages.

  • Articles in journals

Name, I. (year of publication) Title of the article, 'Journal Title', Publisher, Place of publication, number.

 e.g.

Aksman, E. (2005), Redistributable effect of social welfare payments and income tax, 'Economist', the Committee of Economic Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Economic Society, Key Text Publishing, Warsaw, no. 6. 

  1. Tables and graphs:

- Tables and graphs should have  a separate numbering (Arabic numerals), e.g.:

 Table 1 Table title

Chart 1 Chart Title

- Table content - font Times New Roman 9 pt

- Place a data source under the table /graph,

- Diagrams must also be sent as separate files along with the data (in MS Excel format)

- Do not make color charts. 

  1. Links to web pages (this applies to sources of data as well as to footnotes and references at the end of the text):

–  each link to the web page should include the date of access, e.g.:

http://www.nbp.pl (accessed: 30.01.2019)

We  encourage you to submit your papers in the electronic form, according to editorial requirements, to the e-mail address of the journal: comparative@uni.lodz.pl

In the case of articles submitted by doctoral students we need their doctoral supervisor’s opinion along with a recommendation.

Submitted articles should include comparative aspects.
