Focus and Scope of the Journal
The annual Logopaedica Lodziensia was established with the aim of disseminating the latest scientific and practical achievements in the field of prevention, diagnosis and therapy of communication disorders of various etiology. It is an interdisciplinary magazine, combining speech therapy with such disciplines as linguistics, medicine, pedagogy and psychology. In addition to dissertations and theoretical-methodological and pragmatic articles, Logopaedica Lodziensia publishes polemical statements as well as reviews of Polish and foreign publications devoted to the problem of language communication disorders.
Thanks to this, the journal can achieve its aims, which include: promoting the latest knowledge, creating conditions for the exchange of scientific ideas, as well as presenting valuable, innovative practical solutions in the field of speech therapy and related fields.

The basic license for publishing articles in the journal is CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Attribution – Non-Commercial Use – No Derivatives). At the author's request it is possible to publish it under the CC-BY (Attribution) license.

Review Process
The review process is arranged by double-blind system. Every text is subject to at least two reviews. Journals of University of Lodz are publishing scientific articles only after double-blind review, language and technical edition. We do not share our articles in pre-publication.
Qualifying texts for publication
1. The Editorial board preliminarily qualifies the submitted paper in two steps:
a. Compatibility of paper’s subject matter (does it refer to the scope of the journal?)
b. Technical correctness (are the articles prepared in accordance with the journal’s technical requirements)
2. Each submitted text is reviewed by at least two reviewers in a double-blind review process. Both reviews should include positive feedback.
3. The list of reviewers is published on the journal’s website.
4. Each review must be in writing on a review form and should contain a unanimous conclusion with acceptance / for publication or its rejection.
5. When conclusions of reviews are contradictory, the editorial board should decide if the paper should be published or not. In justified cases, the editorial board may appoint the third reviewer.
6. The editorial board accepts texts both in Polish and other languages such as English, German, French or Russian.
In a given calendar year, the Editorial Board accepts articles until April 30. Papers submitted after this date will be forwarded to the next issue of the journal.
