Abstrakt

Celem tekstu jest przybliżenie sposobu, w jaki postrzegane jest jedzenie lub powstrzymywanie się od konsumpcji mięsa i produktów odzwierzęcych przez mężczyzn, i jak prezentowana jest relacja pomiędzy męskością a mięsem w memach internetowych. Mem to zwięzła i humorystyczna wypowiedź internetowa. Stanowi też formę popularyzacji idei, przekonań i podstawę przekazu kulturowego. Memy, które dotyczą określonej tematyki, mogą ukazywać sposób, w jaki jest ona postrzegana. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analiz memów internetowych dotyczących kwestii niejedzenia mięsa i/lub produktów odzwierzęcych przez mężczyzn. Zawarty w memach sposób postrzegania mężczyzn wegetarian i wegan oraz podejmowane w tym kontekście wątki zostały przedyskutowane w odniesieniu do wybranych teorii feministycznych i męskościowych.
