About the Journal

Aims and thematic scope of the journal "Educational Sciences. Interdisciplinary Studies"

We define the profile of the journal from the perspective of an integral and comprehensive analysis of educational phenomena, which emerges from the humanities and social disciplines as well as pedagogical specialties. Our intention is that the journal initiate a discussion on such an overview of educational phenomena and participate in promoting reflection on educational sciences and their institutionalization.

In our intention, the journal is to be an interdisciplinary space for the exchange of thoughts, research and experiences. When creating this space, we focus our attention on the multidimensional reflection on the issues of educational sciences and their critical variants. At the same time, we are careful to take into account those aspects of pedagogical practicality that require a high level of reflection. We are also motivated by the goal of constantly broadening the perspectives of analysing educational issues.

We create this journal together with everyone who is concerned with the applicational possibilities of theories and pedagogical concepts, philosophical, anthropological, sociological, psychological and methodological approaches, to create an integrated perspective of educational sciences. The invitation to participate in the creation of the journal is addressed especially to those authors who cover the issues of educational sciences in a comprehensive manner.

In 2022 NOWIS obtained an Index Copernicus Value of 96.24 from the ICI Journals Master List.

The NOWIS editorial team invites authors to send articles within the following deadlines:

- articles planned for publication in the first issues – until September of the year preceding publication;
- articles planned for publication in the second issues – until February of the current year.
