Abstract

This article serves as an introduction to Volume 22 of “Nauki o Wychowaniu. Studia Interdyscyplinarne” (NOWIS). It outlines the areas of inquiry that constitute the theoretical foundation and conceptual framework of this volume. The second part briefly introduces the key issues addressed in the individual articles included in the issue.

Alina Wróbel, Uniwersytet Łódzki

Alina Wróbel – Associate Professor in social sciences, the discipline of pedagogy; Professor at the University of Lodz, employed at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Department of Educational Theory. Her research interests include the intersection of general pedagogy and the theory of education, the philosophical and theoretical foundations of education, paradigm shifts and research trends in the humanities, humanistic pedagogy and its anthropological foundations, contemporary theories and ideologies of education, the intentionality of educational action, manipulation as a means of exerting influence, a form of violence and a social phenomenon. Vice Chair of the Committee on Pedagogy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KNP PAN) for the 2024-2027 term, Chair of the Section of Theory of Education of the Committee on Pedagogy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KNP PAN), Member of the Section of General Pedagogy of the Committee on Pedagogy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KNP PAN).
