Abstract

Contemporary times bring new chapter in the life of societies. There is much more opportunities to organize personal life what produces diversity of forms and ways of organizing intimate unions. Marriage is not longer the only allowed form of being together. Individuals can live in marriage union or in cohabitation or in LAT (Living Apart Together). They can stay childfree marriage and stay single as well. Presented paper contains analysis of social changes’ influence on meaning of marriage, dissemination of cohabitation and close relations without having one address and joint budget (LAT).
