Abstract

The growing role of innovation as well as workers’ expanding knowledge and skills make the “soft” factors, and thereby human resource management, more important to organizations. Both science and practice employ a variety of HRM concepts and their specific practices. Therefore, it becomes necessary for organizations to choose such an HRM concept(s) and relevant practices from among their stock that might contribute the most to the organization’s capacity for innovation. The article joins the discussion of the issues.
