In 2024 and2025, important academic events on the methodology of educational and social research took place in Poland. The 9th and 10th PTP Pedagogical Methodology Seminar, the 11th Transdisciplinary Symposium of Qualitative Research, and the V International Symposium on Autoethnography and Narrative 2025 devoted to autoethnography showed a shift in interest towards participation, affectivity, and crossing the boundaries set by tradition and applicable standards. Reflections on the role of the researcher, research ethics, and the embodied and dialogical approach to cognition also played a special role. Another significant event was the XXX PTDE Conference, devoted to the diagnosis of educational needs, measurement methods, and analysis of examination results, whose next edition will take place in 2025 in Krakow.
