Abstract

The aim of the article is to determine the specificity of the internationalization of enterprises operating in the sharing economy model against the background of traditional forms of foreign expansion. A research of the literature, has identified over 700 business models in this economy, with a very diversified level of internationalization. The main direction of expansion are the emerging markets. Enterprises in the sharing economy model, especially international corporations, look at foreign markets in the same way as at the specificity of their business – access is more important than ownership.
