Marzena Woźniak-Łabieniec (University of Lodz, Poland, editor-in-chief)
– Ph.D. hab., Professor of University of Lodz, University of Lodz, Faculty of Philology, Chair of Polish Literature of the 20th and 21st Century; Polish literary historian; her main focus covers the matters related to censorship in the People’s Republic of Poland (PRL) and the impact of systemic control of publications on literary life; she also researches 20th century and the latest prose, especially in terms of its relations with classicism and tradition. She is the author of books: Absent yet Present. The reception of Czesław Miłosz in Polish literary criticism of the 1950s in the light of censorship records (Łódź University Press, Łódź 2012); Classic and metaphysics. On the works of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz (Krakow 2002) and several scientific articles on polish contemporary literature in the political and cultural context. She is the head of the Commission of Genetic and Documentary Research in Literature at the Łódź Branch of the Polish Academy of Science.
Monika Worsowicz (University of Lodz, Poland, deputy editor-in-chief, secretary and thematic editor in the field of journalism) - Ph.D. hab., Professor of University of Lodz; works at the Department of Journalism and Social Communication of the University of Lodz. Her scientific interests focus on press studies, rhetoric, journalistic genres and press editing. In recent years she has been publishing mainly scientific articles on how-to journalism. Author of the monograph "On the spirit of appropriateness. Rhetorical theory and contemporary media practice" (Lodz 2013).
