Experiences and challenges in the certification of polish language skills at the University of Gdansk

The article summarises six years of experience in Polish language certification at the University of Gdansk. The issues related to the certificate examination are presented against the background of the development of the examination and glottodidactic centre at the University of Gdansk and considered in the context of the challenges arising from the constantly changing geopolitical, social and economic situation. Today, it seems crucial to frame and define the objectives of the certificate examination in relation to Poland’s migration strategy.
