Abstrakt

Artykuł podejmuje refleksję nad badaniem relacji władzy w intymnych związkach heteroseksualnych w kontekście równości płci. Punktem wyjścia jest propozycja opisu dynamiki władzy sformułowana przez Ronalda E. Cromwella i Davida H. Olsona, uwzględniająca jej trzy wymiary: podstawy, procesy i efekty. Tekst jest próbą uzupełnienia tej klasycznej już na gruncie socjologii rodziny propozycji o perspektywę płci społeczno-kulturowej. Celem proponowanych w tekście analiz jest pokazanie, że normy dotyczące ról kobiet i mężczyzn, a także bazujące na nich ideologie płci partnerów mają wpływ na każdy wymiar władzy w związku, modyfikując znaczenie tych wymiarów. Proponowane rozważania stanowią próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie: w jaki sposób płeć społeczno-kulturowa kształtuje relacje władzy w heteroseksualnych związkach intymnych? Efektem tych rozważań jest zaproponowany model teoretyczny do badania relacji władzy w związkach heteroseksualnych.
