The rule of innovation as a method for modernization of a political system

Abstract

In the article, the objective necessity, importance, contents, and orientation of innovative development of the Russian society are considered. At the present stage of the development process, it is crucial to learn from historical lessons, such as the incompatibility of declarations and actions, hasty, uninformed decisions and misguided conceptions, which have led to considerable material, political, social and psychological harm to the Russian society. The article also contains political and organizational recommendations for the implementation of innovative approach to country’s development, aimed at providing for its effective modernization.
