The object of reflection is a poem by Tadeusz Różewicz Pomniki ("Monuments"). Intertextual reading of the work involves reading it in the context of the poetry of Leopold Staff and Paul Celan. Spatial imagery present in the poem and shared by these authors is interpreted as a form of diagnosis of the spiritual situation after the experiences of the last war.
