Extension of analysis of spatial distribution of contact with the use of GIS

This paper aims to develop new visualization methods of spatial distribution analyses of transportation needs using GIS tools. It improves trip-directional plans method that is based on movement intensity analysis and mutual spatial impact of transportation agencies. This method uses vectors, raster data and attributes in order to improve spatial distribution analyses of transportation needs and make thematic maps more legible. Use of different data types also enhance processing and visualization capabilities as it allow to take into account all spatial relationships between data.
