Before being included in indexing in the database, each source is assessed by an independent Scopus board (Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board - CSAB). The evaluation includes two stages: the first one, checking the so-called minimum criteria that qualify the journal for the next stage - full substantive evaluation. The process of reviewing a given title lasts from several months to over a year.
