The aim of the article is to present the variety of activities organized by the Educational Library workers in terms of supporting schools, including reading education by means of Kamishibai theatre. The ways of using it during classes and library efforts as well as local events have been described. Particular examples of short stories and means of their presentation during classes has been presented. Opportunities of borrowing Kamishibai, various short stories, and topical literature by concerned teachers – the library readers has been discussed.
