The 7th Scientific Conference of Dobrzyca organized by the Museum of the Landed Gentry in Dobrzyca on September 8–9, 2022 covered two groups of issues. The first one, titled “Landowners and landed gentry in social memory”, was devoted to issues related to education and popularization of knowledge about the landed gentry, with particular emphasis on museums and social organizations. The second part of the conference, entitled “The day began with coffee with cream... about table culture in landowners’ manors and palaces” concerned the broadly understood issues of the landowner’s table and cuisine in various areas of the former Polish-Lithuanian Common-wealth in the 19th and early 20th century.
