The 6th Scientific Conference of Dobrzyca organized by the Museum of the Landed Gentryin Dobrzyca on September 8–9, 2021 was devoted to two main issues. It began with a panel discussion, started with the speech of professor Witold Molik, on the theme „Everyday life or unusual life? Around the research problems of landowners’ everyday life in the 19th and early 20th centuries”. The second part of the conference, entitled „The manor in the face of war”, included several speeches divided into four thematic blocks and devoted to the war experiences of various generations of landowners and the functioning of landowners’ manors during wars, uprisings and revolutions in the 19th and 20th centuries – from Napoleonic era to World War II.
