Abstract

The history of the church and parish in Będków has long awaited a comprehensive monographic treatment. Patryk Kozieł has decided to fill this gap by undertaking a comprehensive study of its fascinating history. This article offers several observations supplementing the arguments of the aforementioned author. To this end, manuscript materials, among others, i.e. land records from the 15th-century and early modern-era tax registers of the Łęczyca Voivodeship are used. Furthermore, references to literature omitted by the author are provided, which would allow for further elaboration on the issues raised in the monograph.
