Abstrakt

Kassim Sulejmani jest architektem irańskiej polityki w regionie Bliskiego Wschodu i bezpośrednim doradcą ajatollaha Chameneiego. Kiedyś postać tajemnicza, obecnie jest najbardziej rozpoznawalnym człowiekiem na Bliskim Wschodzie, bohaterem irańskich mediów społecznościowych i postacią z pierwszych stron gazet. Sulejmani, odpowiedzialny za kontakty z libańskim Hezbollahem, palestyńskim Hamasem, a w ostatnim czasie także jemeńskimi Huti i afgańskim Talibanem, skutecznie kontroluje sytuację w regionie. To m.in. dzięki bezpośredniemu zaangażowaniu Sulejmaniego prezydent Syrii Baszar al-Assad utrzymał się przy władzy, iracka armia wspierana przez proirańskie ugrupowania Hashd al-Shaabi zdobyła Mosul i rozbiła tzw. Państwo Islamskie, a Iran wzmocnił swoją pozycję na Bliskim Wschodzie.
