Abstrakt

Szanghajska Organizacja Współpracy (SOW), utworzona w 2001 r., odgrywa kluczową rolę w kształtowaniu porządku politycznego, gospodarczego i strategicznego w regionie Azji Centralnej oraz Wschodniej. Konflikt w Ukrainie w 2022 r. uwidocznił jednak ograniczenia organizacji wynikające z wewnętrznych sprzeczności interesów jej członków oraz strukturalnej zależności od konsensusu decyzyjnego. Artykuł analizuje wpływ wojny w Ukrainie na funkcjonowanie SOW, uwzględniając jej instytucjonalne słabości, brak wspólnego stanowiska oraz narastającą asymetrię sił między Rosją a Chinami. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono reakcjom państw członkowskich, takich jak Kazachstan, Uzbekistan, Indie i Pakistan, oraz ich próbom balansowania między współpracą z Rosją a dywersyfikacją relacji międzynarodowych. Wojna w Ukrainie stała się katalizatorem zmian w równowadze sił w ramach SOW, które mogą zadecydować o przyszłości tej organizacji jako platformy współpracy regionalnej.
