Discriminatory approaches, which are a significant social problem, that have become widespread globally, reduce tourism and harm the quality of tourist experiences. Considering that discriminatory practices towards tourists can harm businesses in a destination too and reduce its attractiveness to tourists, it is important to determine the discriminatory practices towards a specific tourist group. Especially when its effect on the tourist experience is considered, it is seen that the discriminatory approach perceived by the tourist is more important than the discrimination itself. This research aims to identify the types of discriminatory attitudes perceived by Turkish tourists during their travels. For this purpose, the comments of tourists who voluntarily remarked on their tourist experiences using online platforms, were used as research data. Within the scope of the research, Turkish comments on the www.tripadvisor.com.tr website were filtered with the keyword “discrimination”. According to the research findings, the types perceived were customer, nationality, culture, religion and gender. Customer discrimination is divided into six different groups: economic, against tour companies, between local and foreign tourists, from celebrities and influencers, against customers with children and against repeat customers.
