Materialność strachu. Studium ewolucji rynku kolekcjonerskiego dzieł Stephena Kinga w perspektywie trzydziestoletniej praktyki bibliofilskiej

Artykuł stanowi analizę ewolucji rynku kolekcjonerskiego dzieł Stephena Kinga w perspektywie trzydziestoletniej praktyki bibliofilskiej. Opracowanie zestawia tradycyjne podejście do kolekcjonowania, opierające się na drobiazgowej weryfikacji pierwszych wydań, kodów drukarskich oraz specyficznych błędów edytorskich (m.in. z wczesnego okresu wydawnictwa Doubleday), ze współczesnymi trendami rynkowymi. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono unikalnej specyfice polskiego rynku wydawniczego – od czasów transformacji ustrojowej i chaosu lat 90. (naznaczonych działalnością oficyn takich jak Phantom Press czy Amber), aż po dzisiejszą profesjonalizację i rozwój segmentu premium, którego czołowym reprezentantem jest wydawnictwo Albatros. W końcowej części pracy zbadano również wpływ mediów społecznościowych na transformację fizycznej książki z nośnika tekstu w pożądany artefakt wizualny, czego najsilniejszym przejawem jest fenomen luksusowych wydań z barwionymi i ilustrowanymi brzegami stron (sprayed edges).
