Abstract

Inborn abnormalities observed in material from earlier Polish cemeteries are most frequent in the vertebral column. Furthermore there were found cases of cleft palate (palatoschisis), torticolis myogenes, inborn hip displacement (luxatio coxae congenita), achondroplasia and multiple exostoses.
