About the Journal

Anthropological Review is an internationally established peer-reviewed journal promoting an interdisciplinary view of the human being. The journal provides a forum for the presentation of original research studies, meta-analyses, as well as scholarly reviews and theoretical or methodological articles devoted to issues in physical anthropology (including human biological variation, human growth, development and ageing, paleoanthropology, skeletal biology, and dental anthropology) and related fields of science (including physical culture and health sciences, evolutionary psychology, theoretical biology, demography).

We also invite authors to publish works containing documentation of Data Papers previously deposited in a selected repository (so-called data articles describing data sets) or classic scientific articles with data documentation as a supplement.

The journal is published by the University of Lodz Press and appears in four issues per year, exclusively in electronic format.
