Abstract

The mandible of about 35 years old man found on Early Neolithic site 100 kms west from Nile is described. On the basis of comparisons made with use of Penrose distances it is concluded that the mandible belonged to the member of population resembling modern Negroes and dissimilar to Paleolithic and Mesolithic people from N-W Africa and Nile Valley.
