Abstract

Autor omawia konwencję ochrony światowego dziedzictwa kulturalnego i naturalnego UNESCO, historię jej powstania, istotę oraz główne problemy. Scharakteryzowana została lista, na którą wpisano 440 zabytków i obiektów naturalnych (1 I 1995 r.), koncentracja według państw, a także ruch turystyczny w wybranych obiektach. W artykule szczegółowiej zajęto się Francją.
