The article dwells on the creative reception of Osip Mandelshtam in the texts of Anna Gerasimova. Anna Georgievna Gerasimova is a translator, poet, author of the first dissertation in Russia devoted to the work of the OBERIU writers, and rock musician (stage and pen name: Umka). The analysis shows that the reception of Mandelshtam’s poetry in Umka’s work becomes particularly vivid when it is not limited to separate lexical or rhythmic insertions from his texts, but when Gerasimova produces a form which as a whole accumulates Mandelshtam’s artistic experience.
