To measure the greatest breadth of the distal epiphysis of the left humerus the greatest breadth of the distal epiphysis of the left femur, the greatest acromial breadth and the greatest breadth of the pelvis, the coefficients of correlation with weight have been calculated. Prior to that for particular measurements with the exception of the greatest acromial breadth the thickness of the soft parts was subtracted applying the data from X-ray examinations, For the afore-said measurements (73 males and 105 females at their age of 18 - 30) the average arithmetic values and their errors, the standard deviations and their errors as well as the coefficients of correlation and their substance were calculated and afterwards, to calculate the weight, equations of regression were made up. As an example from the made up equations of regression the weight for men and women of the Ostrów Lednicki series was calculated from the breadth of the distal epiphysis of the humerus and femur and for the Kricsel's series from the shoulder and hip breadths.
