Ridge patterns on fingertips (a preliminary communication)

With the use of the classification proposed by G. Das Gupta the authors have examined frequency of various ridge patterns on fingertips i.e. in the region situated immediately below nails. Results of the examination carried on 372 Polish males are presented in tables.
