Author Biographies

  • Bohdan Korneliuk, Khortytsia National Academy, Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine

    Bohdan Korneliuk is an Associate Professor of English and German in Khortytsia National Academy (Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine). He got his PhD in English Literature 2016. His thesis considers Richard III by William Shakespeare through the lens of intentionality theory. His research interests embrace theory of literature, Shakespeare Studies, phenomenology, and philosophy of literature. He is a co-editor of the online project Shakescribe.UA aimed at popularization of Shakespeare in Ukraine. He extensively publishes on Shakespeare, film studies, and cultural studies. He is also engaged in popular lecturing (together with Daria Moskvitina) on various aspects of world literature.

  • Daria Moskvitina, Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Ukraine

    Daria Moskvitina is an Associate Professor of English in Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (Ukraine). She got her PhD in English Literature in 2014. Her research interests include Shakespeare on page and stage, translation studies, receptive aesthetics, and post-modern literature. Her publication list includes papers on reception of Shakespeare in the USA, the Soviet Union, and Ukraine. She is a co-editor of the online project Shakescribe.UA aimed at the popularization of Shakespeare in Ukraine. She is also engaged in popular lecturing (together with Bohdan Korneliuk) on various aspects of world literature.

  • Danielle Byington, East Tennessee State University

    Danielle Byington is an educator, author, and artist from East Tennessee. Her poetry has been published by outlets such as Cold Mountain Review, Still: The Journal, and her first poetry chapbook, The Absurdity of Origins (Dancing Girl Press) was released in 2019, while second, We Are Mary Shelley’s Monster (Finishing Line Press) is forthcoming in 2023. Byington’s visual art has been part of exhibits, public art installations, and permanent collections. Her ardor for the intersection of language and visual arts manifested in 2020, as she created the educational business “Sight into Insight,” which explores the relationship of word and image to enhance emotional understanding.
