CALL FOR PAPERS  non-thematic volume  Multicultural Shakespeare: Translation, Appropriation and Performance vol. 33 no 47 (2026)   Authors are invited to submit articles for publication in the spring issue 2026, in the non-thematic volume of Multicultural Shakespeare: Translation, Appropriation and Performance in 2026.  We invite papers (6000-6500 words) that explore the problems of translating, staging, adapting, reading and teaching Shakespeare worldwide. We welcome contributions in various areas of Shakespearean studies, including reflection and analysis of book, theatre and digital renditions of Shakespeare texts and their creative re-writings.  Complete article submissions should be sent to the journal via the OJS system for an initial round of peer-reviewing performed by the Editorial Board. Theatre and book reviews should be sent to the Theatre and Book Reviewers directly.    Deadline for article submissions: 30 June 2025 Final deadline for interviews and reviews: 30 July 2025   Each article submission should include an abstract (ca. 250-300 words) and a list of ca. 4-6 keywords. Articles should be no less than 6,500 words (abstract, keywords, notes and bibliography included). We recommend a maximum limit of 9,000 words.
