Abstract

The construction is important in a market economy. From the development of the construction industry depends on large extent how the economy will function. In Poland the share of construction in GDP is about 8 percent.

Hence, the need for continuous monitoring of both –the market and the use of methods– that will objectively evaluate the quality of the construction companies. For this type of methods may include taxonomic measures.

In the present study uses a synthetic taxonomic measure attractiveness of investment (TMAI) to compare the condition of 30 selected large construction companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The researches were done for 2008–2012 years.
