For the minutiae analysis was used the method described by Grzeszyk. Five hundred dermatoglyphes of fingers and one hundred dermatoglyphes of palms were examined in 25 pairs of twins. The control group consisted of 460 children — of both sexes, from single pregnancies.
Eighteen circles, drawn on the dermatoglyphes of [fingers and palms in relation to stable points were applied. Among those 18 circles, 9 were placed on the dermatoglyphes of right hand and the other 9 on the left one. 5 of circles were drawn on the fingers and 4 of them on the palm. The stable circle points were situated on the Galton lines of the fingertips, on the straight lines linking the triradii a - b and c - d of the palm, and 2 circles along the line near the ulnar palm edge. Each circle had its radius equal to 15 dermal ridges. In course of the analysis, the authors’ own classification was used, in which the types of minutiac were distinguished.
In differentiation of MZ and DZ twins and the control group of children, the indices of correlation were calculated. ITowever in particular types of minutiae there were significant differences between examined group of children. The higher values of correlation indices were determined in both twins groups, compared with the control group, in the "linea rudimentalis", "tripus" types of minutiac.
In MZ twins the much higher correlation indices were checked, than in DZ twins and in children from the control group, including such types of minutiae as: "ponticulus simplex", "decussatio", "ocellus simplex ans duplex”, “junctio simplex”, “duplex”, “triplex”.
On the palms therc were not such meaningfull differences between correlation indices of twins and control group.
The carried on analysis of minutiac enlarged the studies of the skinridges patterns for the estimation of MZ and DZ twins.
