About the Journal

Aims and Scope

Published in the Open Journal System, the periodical Translatorica & Translata is a scientific journal devoted to translation and its theory within the contemporary, ancient (Latin, Greek, Sanskrit) and artificial (e.g. Esperanto) Indo-European languages. It was created for philologists dealing with translations both from the practical and theoretical side. The magazine Translatorica & Translata provides space for works dealing with all forms of translation, as well as for translations of previously untranslated texts of particular literary, scientific or specialist value. We accept texts that are scientific articles, bilingual translations and reviews of translations. The journal’s languages are (in alphabetical order): English, French, German, Italian, Latin, Polish, Russian and Spanish.
