Call for Papers 2025

Dear Contributors, 
 
We are pleased to inform you that, by decision of the authorities of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Lodz and the editorial teams of Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Litteraria Rossica and Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Linguistica Rossica, these journals have been merged. Starting in 2025, they will be published annually under the title Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Litteraria Rossica. 
 
We invite those interested in publishing in 2025 to submit their articles via the University of Lodz journal platform (under the Submit Article tab) by May 31, 2025. 
 
The thematic scope includes: 
 
1. Literary Studies (specialization: Russian literary studies) 
- History of classical and contemporary Russian literature 
- Literary and cultural comparative studies 
- Literary theory and poetics 
 
2. Linguistics (specialization: Russian linguistics) 
- Semantics 
- Stylistics 
- Ethnolinguistics 
- Cognitive linguistics 
- History of the language 
- Comparative linguistics 
 
3. Translation Studies 
 
4. Language Education (Glottodidactics) 
 
5. Interdisciplinary research related to allied fields 
- Cultural studies 
- Anthropology 
- Philosophy 
 
The journal accepts articles in Russian, Polish, English, Ukrainian, and Belarusian. 
 
The first issue following the merger will not have a specific overarching theme. We encourage submissions within the thematic areas outlined above. 
 
The editorial team also invites authors to publish works that include research data documentation previously deposited in a selected repository, such as data articles describing datasets or traditional scholarly articles supplemented by research data documentation.
