Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical concept of an intelligent enterprise. It is assumed that in the third industrial revolution key determinants of the effectiveness of the company will be associated with its function as an energy prosument. The study focused on the analysis of the smart grid and grid technologies helped define the following three forms of intelligent enterprise: single energy prosument, industry cluster understood in the sense of electrical microgrid dedicated for the group of energy prosuments and industry grid understood as a grid manufacturing virtual organization. This paper proposes the concept of business process competency center as an integrator of intelligent enterprise.
