Group proteins of blood serum as compared with treatings of morphological research in anthropology

Group proteins of blood serum have been presented: haptoglobulin (Hp), transferin (TM, Gm. Ge (group specific component) which are hereditary independent from each other according to Mendel law. Apart from proteins also other group systems among beta-lipoprotcids and enzymes have been pointed out. Seemingly various empiric results of decomposition Hp have been compared with carlier morphological syntheses made by Czekanowski [10] as well as with treatments of population genetics by Birdsell [6]. In treatings of serological anthropology a physiological confirmation of earlier archaeological and linguistic evidence of separate ethnie characteristics of the Basques the Finns or the Magyars on the European ce:.tinent can be found.
The value of physiological methods relies on the fact that they are qualified by a single allel. Thus they are more constant than polygenic combinations for defining racial characteristics.
These combinations disintegrate more casily when the populations are being mixed up.
