Abstract

The article addresses the issue of working Poles’ work experience and their sense of professional attractiveness as factors shaping the quality of working life. The research sought not only to identify the potential relationship between employees’ work experience and their sense of professional attractiveness but also to analyse factors that may differentiate the indicated variables, such as gender or generational affiliation. To show the factors shaping the quality of work experience, individual aspects of the work performed were examined, taking into account the potential effects of a sense of professional attractiveness, financial expectations and the willingness to change place and position. Achieving the purpose of the study, including verification of the hypotheses set, would not have been possible without the empirical research which was carried out in June 2022 using the CAWI technique on a sample of 384 Poles. The results of the survey were subjected to statistical analysis using the STATISTICA package. The research shows that there is a relationship between the quality of work experience and the level of professional attractiveness. As the positive evaluation of experience increases, so does the positive evaluation of the level of professional attractiveness of employees.
